Christian Education Dates and Details

 

Children’s Sunday School Instruction (Sunday 10 a.m.-11:00 a.m.)

Each Sunday morning, children are given the opportunity to experience God’s Word in a unique and fun way. Children are grouped by grade and rotate each week to a new teacher and lesson to meet the needs of all learning styles.

Confirmation Classes

Students entering the 5^th grade are offered Year-One Catechism study with a focus on the Ten Commandments and the Apostle’s Creed. Year-Two Catechism study focuses on the Lord’s Prayer, the two Sacraments and other contemporary Christian issues. Students are confirmed in late May/early June.

Adult Sunday Morning Instruction (Sunday 10 a.m.-11:00 a.m.)

There are currently several opportunities for adults to learn God’s Word and strengthen their relationship with Him. Studies cover a variety of topics. We are currently studying the book of Acts.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

This faithful group is meets Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. at ORLC.  Join this group as they share and learn God’s Word through guided units. We are currently studying "Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible".

Home Bible Study

ORLC offers weekly or bi-weekly Home Bible Studies on a variety of topics. These meet in homes located throughout the DFW Metroplex. Call the church office for times and locations or check out the weekly Sunday bulletin for details! First Place is a current offering centering on healthy lifestyles focused on God.
