I AM the Way the Truth and the Life
ORLC YOUTH

Welcome and may the new year bring each of you closer in relationship with your Lord and Savior as well as build relationships within this most important group of youth. We are all about: Faith, Family, Friends and Fun. We pray that the ORLC Youth Group will help you grow in your relationship with our Lord and Savior and with one another.

Here are a few Q/A's to help learn more about us:

What age youth are included in ORLC Youth?
We focus on youth from 5th through 12th grade.  The ministry is broken down into two main segments, Middle School 5th-8th grade and Senior High 9th-12th grade. We begin in 5th grade as youth enter Catechism in 5th grade.

Why should my youth connect with ORLC Youth Ministries?
ORLC is a place where your youth can connect with God, with leaders and with other students their age.  ORLC is a place where relationships are built and disciples are made, a place for spiritual growth and maturity, a place to be equipped, a place to worship. It is also a great place for parents and guardians to connect and support one another, as parenting can be a challenge in the world we live in today.

How do I get my youth plugged in?
The best way to get your youth involved in ORLC is to continually encourage them to come and participate in our youth activities, but don't stop there.  In order to really connect with our leaders, volunteers and other youth their age, students need to become part of weekly Sunday School and Worship.  This is where true friendships are formed and where accountability and discipleship take place.

Do you have time for youth worship?
Yes we do. All 5th-12th grade youth are invited to meet on Special Sunday evenings from 7:30-8 PM. What is Youth Worship? It is a time of Praise and Worship, a time of Prayer and a time to focus on God’s Word. It is student led and it is here where youth leaders emerge and develop. Anyone in 5th grade-12 grade can lead Youth worship. Michael Hill will guide and assist as little or as much as needed.

How can I know what's going on?
The fastest and easiest way to keep up with our ministry is through reading Weekly announcements, mailings and emails. Stay connected by getting on our mailing list.  And be sure to ask us any questions you might have.  Our goal is to keep you in the know about what we are doing, why we do it, and when it will happen.

Is there anything that happens on a regular basis?

Sunday School: Sunday mornings from 10-11 am

Catechism Instruction: Sunday mornings from 10-11 am (for those entering 5th grade and beyond)
